Connect an AI assistant
Let an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude work with your Farco Connect account: it can search marketplace listings, look up your bookings and read your profile — only what you can already see, and it can't change anything. Connecting takes about two minutes.
1. The connection address
This is the address you paste into your AI assistant. It's unique to this site — always copy it from here rather than from an email or message.
Loading…2. Connect your assistant
Pick the assistant you use. The first connection asks you to sign in to Farco Connect and approve access.
ChatGPT
- 1Open ChatGPT's advanced connector settings and turn on Developer mode (ChatGPT shows a risk notice there — it applies to every custom connector, not just this one). If you can't see it, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.
- 2Open the new-connector dialog — it opens ChatGPT's "New plugin" form directly.
- 3Enter Farco Connect as the name and paste the connection address from above into the URL field.
- 4Review the details, tick "I understand and want to continue", then click Create.
- 5Enable Farco Connect from the chat composer (the + or tools menu), then ask ChatGPT to use it. You'll be asked to sign in to Farco Connect and approve access — use your usual sign-in, then return to the chat.
Claude
- 1Open Claude's add-connector form — the name and address are filled in for you. Review the details and click Add.
- 2If the form doesn't open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, then enter Farco Connect and paste the connection address.
- 3Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it. You'll be asked to sign in to Farco Connect and approve access.
Claude Code
- 1Run this one-line command in a terminal:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http farco-connect ''That's the whole install — no settings files to edit. - 2Start Claude Code and run
/mcpto confirm Farco Connect is connected. If the app asks you to sign in, do it from that same menu. - 3Ask Claude Code to use Farco Connect.
Other AI assistants
- 1Open the assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.
- 2Create a new remote MCP server connection.
- 3Name the connection Farco Connect and paste the connection address from above.
- 4Finish any sign-in or approval prompts that appear.
- 5Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.
3. After this site changes
Assistants remember an older list of what they can do here. When new features ship, refresh the connection so your assistant picks them up.
ChatGPT
- 1Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Farco Connect.
- 2Scroll down to "Information" and click "Refresh".
- 3If this site's address ever changes, ChatGPT can't update an existing app — delete it from Plugins and repeat the connection steps above with the latest address.
- 4Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use the app.
Claude
- 1Open Claude's Connectors page and select this connector.
- 2Refresh or update the connector's tools.
- 3If this site's address ever changes, remove the connector and add it again with the latest address.
- 4Ask Claude to use the app.
Claude Code
- 1Start a new Claude Code session — it loads the latest tools when it connects.
- 2If this site's address ever changes, run
claude mcp remove farco-connectthen run the install command again with the latest address. - 3Ask Claude Code to use the app.
Other AI assistants
- 1Open the assistant's MCP server or connector settings.
- 2Select the connection you created for Farco Connect.
- 3Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
- 4If the address changed, paste the latest one from above.
- 5Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use the app.
